Short answer
With TELOS, the app download, playback unlock and your own content access are separate things. On iPhone and iPad, one playlist is free; additional playlists require Premium, and playback requires a purchase after the trial period. Other platforms have the offers shown there.
Your content access
Your provider supplies channels and movies. Its terms apply.
Playback in TELOS
Playback requires a purchase after the trial period.
Additional playlists
One playlist is free. Additional playlists require Premium.
For iPhone and iPad. Other platforms have the offers shown in their respective stores.
Three questions to answer before you buy
Can you download the app? Is playback unlocked? And do you have active content access? These questions are related, but they have different answers. Installing the app does not give you channel packages. Unlocking the app does not extend access that has expired with your provider.
TELOS plays content from your own legally usable source. So first check that you have the right app for your device and the right login details. The setup guide takes you through to your first playback. Your provider still determines what it supplies and how many streams can run at once.
iPhone and iPad: one playlist, more playlists and playback
On iPhone and iPad, you can use one playlist for free; additional playlists require Premium. Playback requires a purchase after the trial period. So “one playlist free” does not promise unlimited free playback.
The number of playlists describes how many sources you can add to the app. It says nothing about the number of profiles you have or the streams your provider allows. If you use one access, you do not need an additional playlist to choose a different channel from that source.
Three questions can help you decide:
- Do you want to manage one source or several?
- What playback unlock does the app show after the trial period?
- What features, term and renewal does the specific purchase offer state?
Read the offer before confirming. Prices and available options can depend on the store and your region. The pages for iPhone and iPad explain how you can use the app.
A quick guide to your decision
On smaller screens, you can scroll the table sideways.
| Your question | What it means | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| I want to add my own access | On iPhone and iPad, one playlist is free; playback after the trial period requires a purchase | Connect your source and check the playback offer shown |
| I want additional playlists on iPhone or iPad | More playlists require Premium | Check whether your specific offer covers the use you need |
| I want to use Apple TV | No direct purchase on Apple TV; activation uses a code on your phone | Follow the provided activation process |
| I use Fire TV | Apple offers do not automatically apply to Fire TV | Check the official Amazon listing and details in the Fire TV app |
| I am looking for channels or a movie catalogue | TELOS does not include content packages | Arrange your own content access separately |
If you have already paid, check your receipt and the store named on it first. Avoid buying a second time until you know what has already been unlocked.
Apple TV: activate using your phone
You do not buy directly in the Apple TV app. Activation uses the provided code on your phone under “Settings > Device Sync”. You still need to set up your own content access on Apple TV; activating the app does not replace the source.
“Device Sync” does not promise that profiles, history or downloads will move from your phone to your TV. The profiles described here stay local. Read the relevant section on the Apple TV page if you want to tell the code, login and playback apart.
Which features should you check separately from the plan?
A purchase alone does not tell you what your provider and device can do technically. On iPhone and iPad, downloads are not tied to a separate plan; they still require a suitable Xtream source, the provider proxy turned off and compatible content. In the Apple app described here, M3U does not offer downloads, EPG or catch-up. These are separate from the general playback unlock.
The downloads overview (in German) describes the requirements. On Apple TV, downloads are temporary storage that tvOS may remove when space is low. Do not assume that mobile offline use works the same way on your TV.
Up to five profiles also do not create five provider connections. Profiles organize favorites, history and other personal sections. If two devices use the same access, the content provider's connection limit still applies.
Fire TV: check the offer for your platform
The rules above about one free playlist, Premium and the playback purchase apply to iPhone and iPad. Do not assume they apply to the Fire TV app. For Fire TV, check the official Amazon listing and the details in the app installed on your device.
A purchase confirmed by Apple does not by itself prove that the Amazon store has unlocked the app. Likewise, a Fire TV download does not imply an Apple purchase. If you want to use both devices, check the purchase route and what it includes before paying again. The TELOS on Fire TV page covers installation and compatibility.
Already bought it? Check your receipt and Apple Account
If a paid Apple feature is missing, first find the receipt and check which Apple Account was used. For purchases that can be restored, Apple recommends using the restore option in the relevant app and the same Apple Account used for the purchase. Apple's guide to restoring in-app purchases describes the general steps; it does not promise that every TELOS offer can be transferred.
For a support request, provide your device, app version, purchase type and the exact message shown. Do not publish full receipts containing personal information. Also do not share your provider password, full M3U link or activation code.
If you want to manage a subscription purchased through Apple, find it on iPhone and iPad under Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Apple's guide to cancelling a subscription explains how. Cancelling applies to that Apple subscription; your separate content access has its own terms.
Frequently asked questions
Is TELOS completely free forever on iPhone and iPad?
One playlist is free; additional playlists require Premium. Playback requires a purchase after the trial period. Starting for free does not mean all features remain free forever.
Are channels or movies included with the purchase?
No. TELOS is the player. You bring your own legally usable content access; its costs and terms are separate.
Do I need a separate download subscription to download on iPhone?
Downloads in the iPhone app described here are not tied to a separate plan. The general playback unlock and technical requirements still apply: Xtream, provider proxy off and compatible content. M3U downloads are not available there.
Can I buy TELOS directly on Apple TV?
No. To activate it, redeem the provided code on your phone under Settings > Device Sync. This does not automatically sync profiles or downloads.
Do the Apple Premium rules also apply to Fire TV?
That is not promised here. Check the specific Fire TV offer in the official Amazon listing and the Fire TV app. A purchase in one store does not prove an unlock in every other store.
Why does this guide not list a fixed price?
The specific purchase offer for your store and region is what matters. Check its price, features, term and any renewal before confirming.
