Start with the symptom you can see
Open one channel you normally watch through your own lawful provider access. Does the video play? Does the guide show no entries, the wrong programme or the right programme at a different time? Write down the result before changing settings. An empty EPG does not prove that your password is wrong, and a populated guide does not prove that a video stream is available.
This guide helps you prepare a useful next check. It does not promise a particular menu or manual guide-import feature on every TELOS platform. Use the options actually shown in your installed version, and check your device’s current information in the TELOS device directory.
Ask what your provider supplies
Check whether the access you received includes programme information for the channel and date you are viewing. Ask the provider which of its listed channels have guide coverage and whether there is a separate setup instruction. Do not add a random public guide address just because the channel names look familiar: your player needs information that fits your source.
If no channels have programme entries, record that as a different symptom from one missing channel. Open another channel from the same source, then compare a date for which the provider says information is available. A gap in coverage and a failed guide download need different follow-up questions. Neither can be resolved by repeatedly buying or activating the player.
Keep source setup and guide checks separate
Confirm which source is selected when several are saved. Compare your saved connection details privately with the provider’s current instructions. Make a note of the app version and device, but do not copy the full address, password or account token into your report. A successful source login is useful evidence; it does not establish that every channel has a schedule.
When your installed version offers a guide refresh, try it once and allow the operation to finish before checking the same channel again. Avoid switching accounts, changing passwords and adjusting time settings during that one test. The Xtream Codes setup guide explains how to separate login problems from the data returned after a connection.
If the programme time looks wrong
First choose a programme whose start time you can compare with the provider’s own schedule for the same channel and date. Check the device’s date and time zone. Record whether every entry is shifted by the same amount or only one channel looks wrong. That distinction helps you decide what to ask next.
If the app exposes a guide-time adjustment, note its current value before trying one change. Do not apply an automatic one-hour correction just because daylight-saving time is approaching. Compare the result and restore the original value if it makes the display less accurate. A manual adjustment can hide a source mismatch rather than explain it.
When video also stops
If the stream is buffering or cannot start, treat that as a separate playback investigation. Keep the same guide observations so they are not lost, then use the buffering troubleshooting guide. Changing guide settings is not a test of network capacity or video decoding.
To ask for help, prepare a short report: device and app version, selected source type, whether video plays, which guide symptom occurs, the affected date and the single checks you performed. Use an account nickname instead of a private URL. If a screenshot is useful, crop or cover account details before sharing it. The TELOS support page provides the existing contact options. Questions about absent programme data belong with the provider that supplies your access.
Questions and answers
Does TELOS supply the programme data?
No. TELOS is a player; programme information depends on your own source and the features of the installed version. Ask your provider which channels and dates its guide covers.
Can a channel play without an EPG?
Yes. Treat playback and guide information as separate checks. Working video alone does not establish that programme data is supplied for that channel.
Should I change the time by one hour?
Check the provider’s schedule, device clock and time zone first. Record any existing adjustment and change one setting at a time rather than applying a fixed correction.
What can I send to support?
Send the device, app version, symptom, affected date and checks performed. Keep passwords, tokens and complete private source URLs out of messages and screenshots.
